10:00 – Doors Open!
Pilton Street and Rotary Gardens welcome visitors to kick off the day.
11:00 – The Procession Begins!
The parade sets off from Barnstaple Museum and winds its way through town up to Pilton.
12:00 – Green Man Pageant (First Performance)
Watch the ancient story of the Green Man come to life in Rotary Gardens.
15:00 – Green Man Pageant (Second Performance)
A second chance to enjoy the magic of the pageant!
17:00 – Green Man Day Wraps Up
Green Man Day draws to a close.
18:00 – Streets Re-open
Pilton Street is cleared and ready for cars again.
Children's Entertainment
Throughout the day we have various different shows full of bubbles and laughs, Uncle Taco’s famous flea circus, and Dave Hendy’s classic Punch & Judy antics to delight kids and grown-ups alike.
Try your hand at crafts, test your circus skills, and get up close with rescued owls and birds of prey. Plus, enjoy all the favourites—trampolines, inflatables, and the merry-go-round!
Stalls
Green Man Day will be buzzing with a vibrant mix of stalls, from handcrafted arts and crafts to wildlife exhibits and inspiring charity stands. Discover unique treasures, meet talented artisans, and learn more about local conservation efforts, while soaking up the Green Man Day atmosphere!
Food
Grab a picnic blanket, find a sunny spot, and enjoy a delicious selection from our fantastic food stalls - indulge in Caribbean flavours, juicy burgers, wood-fired pizzas, authentic international dishes, or fresh vegetarian options.
Music Stages
Pilton Green Man Day has three stages, and we showcase the best of local talent. Catch the action on the Main Stage at the bottom of Pilton Street, groove to the Top Stage at the top of Pilton Street or relax and enjoy the sounds at the Garden Stage next to Pilton House in Rotary Gardens.
Beer Tent & Pimms Tent
Thirsty? Head over to the Beer Tent by Pilton House for both alcoholic and soft drinks to keep you going! Then swing by the Pimms Tent near the Pageant, where fruity, freshly mixed Pimms flows all day long.

For everyone’s safety, all drinks are served in plastic only – no glass bottles or glasses. You can grab a Green Man Day reusable cup on the day too – perfect for your drinks and a brilliant keepsake to take home
